Ro Membrane is a method of water treatment in which adequate pressure is applied against feed water to force it from end to end a semi-permeable membrane and separate water molecules from other ingredients within the water. Ro Membrane separates the feed water into two effluent streams, a desired permeates and a senior salinity concentrate stream. Ro Membrane rejection characteristics are based on an assortment of factors including the type of ions, ionic charge, molecular weight, molecular shape, and molecule hydrophobicity.
Reverse osmosis is suitable for industrial processes and the production of potable water. Feed waters vary and might include surface, well, wastewater, industrial process, and seawater sources.
